A reliable source for visitors to move around in Fondi and surroundings with the tourist card.
if you’ve ever thought of a new tourist destination. your holiday changes with the Terre di Confine tourist card, designed by the B&B Fondi Association.
The tour package covers detailed guidance through the historical and landscape beauties of the district’s towns including a wide range of benefits and discounts of related activities.
These services range from catering business to wellness, as well as shopping and car rental, not forgetting beaches that suit all tastes and obviously extra-hotel accommodation facilities.
The guide, however, is much more. It represents a unicum for the development of profitable seasonal traffic and year-round jobs in the tourist industry for all the municipalities of Fondi, Terracina, Monte San Biagio, Lenola, and Sperlonga.
In a comfortable booklet, whether patrons or visitors can rediscover the history of this borderland and get to know about its beauty and unknown treasures.
Here’s how the card works: all the commercial activities in the guide will offer at least 10% discount out of a range of products or services. Once guests proceed to check in at the tourist accommodation can ask for the Tourist Card, and so take advantage of cuts for the entire period of stay.
“Terre di Confine is not just a slogan it is the reality. It is an area; it is a territory, a history, a tradition. Ours is a land that must be crossed over and lived as it is such a blessed land, and you sound like to be squeezed out by their bounty when realizing what sources lie in it. Heading down along the Via Appia, or Via Francigena, the main southern roads used to reach the harbours in Puglia, you will discover unexpected ancient realms and unchanged landscape beauties. In the relaxing sensation of the slow-moving progress of our lands and, a fantastic climate, you will live in the past and future, between old walls built before Rome-time and impregnable fortresses. You will enjoy the crystalline sea, the white marble statues of the Emperors; you will hike on mountains and in the uncontaminated valleys; or you may fall asleep on meadows, alongside cold stream water. That is what Terre di Confine is about, and much more. It is a travel experience of the territory rooted in the villages and towns, in the natural parks of the Monti Ausoni and Monti Aurunci; it is in the sea, in the lakes, alongside the streams. It is in the silence of nature, or in the bustle of an evening beach party. Telling everything would be impossible. But it’s about time people directly experience the story” – explains the B&B Association; President Tommaso di Virgilio.
The Terre di Confine tourist card will be presented to the audience on Friday 25th May at 6.30 pm in the conference room of Castello di Fondi.
